Morgan is an 11-year-old mini-Oprah. She talks with and listens to kids, teens, and young adults as they share personal stories about how virtues help them be their “best”, whatever their best might be. Documentary-style short films and dramatizations that bring the stories to life accompany Morgan’s interviews.
FROM EVERYDAY CONCERNS TO TODAY’S CRUCIAL ISSUES.
The V Channel aims to produce dozens of Morgan Interviews episodes exploring a variety of concerns and issues facing youth; bullying and violence, lying and cheating, race and gender identity, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual awakening, gang life and crime, social media addiction, self-esteem issues, suicidal thoughts, and more.
INSPIRING EXAMPLES.
Morgan will also talk with parents, teachers and coaches—everyone who cares for children—about how they inspire their kids to practice virtues to overcome adversity and achieve goals and dreams, rise above negative influences and be kind, honest and generous people in an often cruel, dishonest and selfish world.
WATCH OUR PROOF-OF-CONCEPT VIDEOS:
The following videos were made by nonprofessionals to demonstrate the Morgan Interviews series potential. Our goal is to partner with a production company and work with professional and talented young filmmakers to shoot the interviews and produce short films and dramatizations that bring the stories to life.
Morgan interviews a NYC boy who learns about Courage when he has to ride the subway to school alone for the first time. (Includes a cinematic dramatization of a scary subway ride.)
Morgan interviews a young music producer, and in a candid conversation, he shares his story about when he discovered vice at college and how he practices virtues to keep himself balanced.
FILLING A NICHE.
The Morgan Interviews fills a niche in today’s media landscape by providing positive, meaningful and inspiring content that parents, teachers and coaches can share with kids, teens and young adults.
