BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE V CHANNEL (TVC), THE ONLY 100% VIRTUES-DRIVEN PARENTING AND KID SELF-IMPROVEMENT PLATFORM AVAILABLE IN THE MEDIA TODAY.
TVC is a nonprofit media company. We engage and inform parents, teachers and coaches—everyone who cares for children—about the power of virtues and produce creative learning material that inspire kids to be their best.
WHAT ARE VIRTUES?
Drawing connections across all cultures, ethnicities and beliefs, virtues are the character strengths within everyone: Caring • Compassion • Confidence • Determination • Excellence Generosity • Honesty • Justice • Patience • Peacefulness • Reliability • Respect • Responsibility • Self-Discipline • Trustworthiness and dozens more.
When kids understand virtues they activate an inner compass that guides them when faced with decisions between right and wrong, good and bad, or when they find themselves experiencing personal challenges and difficulties.
MEET OUR HOST
Morgan is a 13-year-old from Brooklyn, New York. Intelligent, witty and street-wise beyond her years, she loves talking about how virtues empower kids to overcome adversity, rise above negative influences, and be kind, honest and generous people in a world that can sometime be cruel, dishonest and selfish.
With the help of child-rearing experts and professional consultants, Morgan engages and informs her audience—parents, guardians, teachers and coaches—about the value of virtues, and offers tools and strategies to help them connect with children in meaningful and creative ways.
Morgan knows kids want positive guidance to learn how to make responsible and ethical choices, but they don’t want to be lectured, preached to, or judged. Her crew of content creators produce multimedia edutainment that adults can share with kids of all ages, to inspire them to be their best and help make the world a better place.
THE “V” SHOW fills a niche in today’s media landscape by providing virtues-themed content that appeals to both the secular and faith-based audience.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
Shot against a green screen, Morgan does in-person and remote interviews with people of all ages and diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Mixed with a mashup of re-sampled content off the Internet; social media memes, Snaps and TikToks, along with clips from mainstream media, historical and archival still photography, film, video, animation and cartoons, THE “V” SHOW provides an informative, engaging and compelling audiovisual experience for adults and kids alike.
Documentary-style short films, reenactments and dramatizations accompany Morgan’s interviews and bring her guests’ personal stories to life.
Our DIY presentation video includes Morgan’s first interview and a student film to demonstrate the potential of virtues-driven programming.
We are raising money to help finance a professionally-produced Episode #1, which we will use in our pitch to major media companies. Our goal is to secure a development and distribution deal for THE “V” SHOW first season; eight episodes that cover important topics facing today’s youth.
