LET’S INSPIRE THE WORLD’S YOUTH TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES.

There are many choices in life. Some offer fantastic highs and exciting rides. Some are amusing, like when Bart plays a prank and gets busted. But in real life, kids may learn that some choices aren’t very sweet, and the bitter taste of making the wrong choice can last a lifetime.

Currently in development, The “V” Channel is designed to increase awareness of virtues and inspire the world’s youth to make the right choices.

We’re changing the face of goodness by producing creative, entertaining, and sometimes provocative content featuring real-life role models for kids, teens and young adults. We are taking a stand against blame, shame and fear, and the old way of teaching kids life lessons. Instead, we promote The Five Strategies of the Virtues Project™, simple and uplifting ways for parents and teachers to bring out the very best in children regardless of their cultural upbringing or religion.

FOUNDER’S VISION

The “V” Channel was founded by Scott Feraco. After 25 years as a creative director, he left the advertising business and combined his communications expertise with his passion for parenting and coaching. For the past three years he has been developing The “V” Channel, producing content and building a presentation website to exhibit the project’s concept and potential.

In addition to articles and blogs, Feraco’s vision includes ORIGINAL “V” VIDEOS made by talented students and professional filmmakers. In the meantime, he’s making prototype videos using friends and family as cast and crew.

CAUSE-RELATED PARTNERSHIPS

The “V” Channel is developing partnerships with editors, writers, designers and filmmakers around the globe to create inspirational content. Professional partners include renowned educators, child psychologists, behavioral specialists and master facilitators of The Virtues Project™ to provide online guidance and support to parents and teachers. In the future we’ll reach out to ‘Influentials’—pop stars, sports icons and celebrity personalities willing to use their fame to inspire young people to be the best they can be.

We are offering corporate partners a unique cause-related marketing opportunity. BRANDED CONTENT “V” VIDEOS will premiere on theVchannel.com and be disseminated by popular social media websites in the parenting, education and social good space.

THE “V” CHANNEL AFTER SCHOOL

clapper_afterschoolOur After School Program is a fun, interactive way for kids to learn the what, why and how of goodness. Sketching storyboards, writing scripts, acting or directing, students learn about movie-making while learning actionable ways to apply virtues from “A” to “Z” in real life. Kids learn to:
  • Speak the language of the Virtues
  • Recognize teachable moments; no ‘mis-takes’, just opportunities to pursue excellence
  • Assert clear boundaries with respect and reliability
  • Honor the artistic process and cultivate the courage to create
  • Be a support to their classmates and work together in unity

All of this results in:

  • An increased self-esteem and personal empowerment
  • Better relationships at school and at home
  • More peace, less violence
  • A positive influence on society
  • Success in an often hostile and competitive world
