Scott Feraco, Founder and Creative Director

The V Channel (TVC) was inspired by Scott’s experience using The Family Virtues Guide while raising his son and coaching inner city youth basketball in Brooklyn, NY.

Led by the vision to produce media that makes the world a better place, Scott has spent the past seven years developing TVC, engaging and informing parents, guardians, teachers and coaches about the practical benefits of teaching kids the “what, why and how” of virtues.

Before starting TVC, Scott enjoyed a long and satisfying career in advertising. Driven by a passion for creative excellence and strategic thinking, he produced campaigns for a wide variety of clients including: Bally of Switzerland, AT&T, Hollywood Casino, British Telecom, optionsXpress.com, World Gym NYC and consumer packaged goods accounts including Quaker Oatmeal, Tropicana, Frito-Lay, Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Gillette. Scott’s favorite clients were specialty beer brands, Rolling Rock, Dos Equis, Tecate, Bohemia and Boddingtons. His work has been featured in AdWeek, Print, BtoB and Photo District magazines as well as on television’s Hard Copy, which profiled his bold, attention-getting television & print campaign for World Gym NYC.

Prior to advertising, Scott spent ten years in the entertainment industry working as an actor, writer, director and producer. His experience as an actor proved useful during his advertising career.

More recently, Scott played the role of “Mr. Scott”, a Brooklyn school bus driver. Driving a school bus provided Scott a relevant way to do research for TVC. Being around kids and getting to know their sensibilities provided the insights needed to produce TVC’s “VTOONS Coloring Pages and “V”VIDEOS.

When Scott founded TVC, people often asked him how he could leave a lucrative advertising career for the unknown future of starting a nonprofit media initiative. The question prompted him to produce his first video blog, “Why I Left Advertising and Started Selling Virtues.”

Channeling his passion for parenting and coaching, Scott leverages his advertising and entertainment experience to produce media that inspires kids of all ages to be their best.
