PROMOTING THE POWER OF VIRTUES!

Most parents want to raise virtuous kids, but in today’s busy world they are hard-pressed for time to teach them the what, why and how of virtues. The “V” Channel was created to help. We give parents, teachers, coaches, and even school bus drivers, simple and creative ways to share virtues with their kids.

VIRTUES FROM “A” TO “Z”.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

From Assertiveness to Zeal, virtues are positive qualities of character for people of all cultures, ethnicities and beliefs. Just as a toddler learns to stack building blocks, kids of all ages can learn the virtues to build a life of goodness.

Our goal to produce ‘Edutainment’—VIDEOS, SHORT STORIES, ANIMATIONS, CARTOONS and GAMES to make learning the what, why and how of virtues engaging and fun.

MORE THAN KIDS’ STUFF.

During the early years most children learn basic virtues such as “generosity” to share their toys, “friendliness” to be nice and play together, and “obedience” to follow instructions. As kids get older, those early lessons are often diluted or countered by external influences such as the media, peer pressure, or family issues.

Far too many teens don’t have access to positive guidance and are left to explore social and emotional learning on their own. Lacking a moral compass that says “it’s wrong” when contemplating an action or making a decision, many teens make choices that result in negative experiences; distrustful relationships, violence, crime, teen pregnancy, sexual assault, substance abuse, imprisonment, depression, and suicide.

NOW IS THE TIME.

There is an urgent need to help young people learn how to make responsible and moral choices without dogma and judgment… or having them feel like there is more homework to do. The “V” Channel fills the need by telling stories and modeling positive behavior that young people can identify with.

NOT JUST VIDEOS. “V” VIDEOS!

Young people consume thousands of hours of TV, movies, and video content, a lot of it violent, sexually explicit, or just mean-spirited. We think everyone should have the freedom of choice to enjoy watching whatever he or she likes, but we also think kids need a balanced media diet that includes healthy, meaningful and positive messages.

The “V” Channel produces “V” Videos, short films based on virtues, “to inform, engage and inspire the world’s youth to overcome adversity and achieve their goals, to rise above the negative influences in today’s complex world, or to simply reveal a little goodness each and every day.”

Our goal is to produce hundreds of “V” Videos that resonate with young people and make a real difference in their lives, and in the process, build an online resource providing parents, teachers and coaches with powerful, engaging and uplifting messaging they can share with their kids.

THE “V” IS FOR VIRTUES!

There are many organizations dedicated to helping children, but none are 100% dedicated to virtues! The “V” Channel will fill the niche, empowering kids of all ages to:

  • Tell the truth and stand up for justice
  • Give love and attention to the people that matter to them
  • Listen with compassion and help with kindness
  • Trust that they have the strength to cope with whatever happens in life
  • Do what it takes to attain personal goals and achieve accomplishments
  • And much more!

  1. The V Channel is mindfulness at its best. More than “New Age,” I see it as “New Weave.” As Virtues being sewn into the very fabric of life. Bruce Weinberg – Boulder, Colorado/Kyoto, Japan.

  2. IT IS AMAZING THE ‘AMOUNT’ OF PEOPLE THAT ARE JOINING THESE NEW AGE, OR NEW WAVE OF GIVING UP CONSUMPTION AND CREATE A NEW WORLD OF SOLIDARITY AND ESPIRITUAL GROWTH. IT MAKES ME FEEL HOPEFUL SEEING THAT TALENTED AND HIGHLY CREATIVE INDIVIDUALS ARE PUTTING THEIR EFFORT IN – NOT MAKING MONEY – BUT IN GROWING MORE SENSITIVE. TKS FOR EXISTING
